These are the words of wisdom from Covestone Sovereign’s Cup 2013 Regatta Director Mike Walsh, as the online entry process and the early bird discounts have resulted in unprecedented numbers of bookings already for the event starting June 26th. With numbers limited and significant interest already from the Quarter Ton and the 1720 fleets, regular visitors to the biggest sailing event on the south coast this year are advised to enter as soon as possible, so as to avoid disappointment.
Anthony Gore-Grimes, owner of ‘Dux’ will receive a half case of wine when he arrives into Kinsale in June, as the 20th boat to enter the Covestone Sovereign’s Cup 2013 – way back in January!
