Following requests after our Spring Coaching Regatta, the RIYC has scheduled the Inaugural Volvo Tuneup Coaching Day for Saturday 6th July. This 1 day coaching event will have 50% of the day on shore-side and 50% afloat giving practical tips and “go fast” techniques on:-
1. Sail trim, upwind and downwind
2. Crew work, manoeuvres and kinetics
3. Helming techniques
Boats will take part in the DBSC racing as normal where the starts, mark roundings and sail trim will be videoed for a video debrief by Prof from North Sails.
