David Kenefick’s Full Irish was crowned ICRA Boat of the Year 2013.
The presentation was made by ICRA Commodore Norbert Reilly at the ICRA Annual National Conference in the Royal Irish Yacht Club this evening.
David Kenefick, a 22 year old Corkman burst into the Figaro sailing scene. Mentored by Marcus Hutchinson, he was the youngest in a schedule which saw him complete almost 7,000 offshore miles, nearly all of them single-handed. After a solid performance on the Generali Solo 2013 he was crowned Top Rookie of 2013.
