RIYC Commodore Welcomes Competitors to the 2014 Teng Tools ICRA Nationals

RIYC logo colDear Competitor,

The Royal Irish Yacht Club is delighted to welcome you to the 2014 ICRA National Championships where you and your crew will receive a warm welcome both on and off the water.

Our Windward Leeward Course will be run by International Race and Olympic Officer Jack Roy, whilst the “Round the Cans” racing, run by Henry Leonard, will be on new purpose designed courses to give a wide variety of legs and many mark roundings to keep skippers and crew alert. The Non-Spinnaker Classes will have a varied choice of short or slightly longer coastal courses, depending on weather.

Our priority is to provide the best and most challenging racing we can so the winners are truly winners who have performed best over the range of challenging courses raced over the series.

Hopefully all competitors will come ashore happy with their racing with a great thirst and ready to enjoy our extensive and varied social programme with live bands, salsa dancers and delicious dining options from casual BBQ on the deck to the sailing supper & Gala dinner in the dining room where bookings can be made with gareth@riyc.ie.

Crew lunches can be booked in advance and collected at the RIYC from 8am each morning. Please contact gareth@riyc.ie
