Galway – May 1, 2018
The ICRA National Championship this year is being held in association Port of Galway under the guidance of Harbourmaster Capt Brian Sheridan.
Capt. Sheridan has very generously organised for there to be FREE berthage and craneage for the event so everyone can be catered for.

If you are sailing to Galway prior to the event you will also be accommodated. That way you can arrive in Galway for the regatta safe in the knowledge that your boat is there waiting for you.
You will be able to leave your boat in the comfort of Galway Docks after racing and take the short walk into the bright lights of Galway City.
Galway is “party central” during the summer. Whether it’s a nice quite spot for a pint after sailing or a bite to eat the City of the Tribes can provide. If you wanted to get away from in all for a while the beauty of Connemara and the Burren are on your door step while you’re in Galway.
As the central hub of the Wild Atlantic Way Galway and its environment has so much to offer that a good time is pretty much guaranteed while you’re here in mid-August.
We are now in May so this is time to take advantage the early bird entry fees. Early bird entry ends on May 31st.
Don’t forget also that the accommodation link on the website has options to suit all budgets and our even accommodation officer Aoife is on hand to guide and advise you. Her details are on the website.
